There is easy access to Lancaster and the beautiful Lake District. Given its rural location driving is a must, a parking space is situated next to the bungalow.

Hi, I’m Gareth, with my wife Chloe and now 5 year old son we have been hosting (and travelling) through Airbnb for nearly 7 years now. We have enjoyed meeting many people from all corners of the world, amazing to think our quite little spot has attracted so many! We do our best to be as accommodating as possible and have really valued the fantastic feedback we have received! The bungalow is situated opposite the house we live in and therefore we can be on hand as and when needed.

This is a lovely secluded, rural location, ideal for peace and quite. There is access to beautiful walks and scenery with public footpaths off the door step and some fantastic pubs and restaurants near by. The location is also ideal for bird watchers with the UK's top estuary for birds nearby - Ribble Discovery Centre. There is so much within reach of the bungalow which is perfect to relax and do nothing or to use as a base and go off and explore, particularly with the Lake District 45 minutes away. Driving is essential as we live at the end of a private rural lane. Although local taxi firms are available. Directions - As you get onto Dry Bread Lane from Chapel Lane you will need to turn left after Peagram farm, passing a white house with a thatched roof on your left as you turn. Follow the single track lane, you will pass sawpitts cottage before going over a cattle grid. Follow the lane all the way down passing over a couple of speed bumps, as you reach the end of the lane follow it round to the left as it splits - sign posted Barn cottages. You will see the bungalow directly in front of you as you drive round the lane. The parking space for the Bungalow is directly alongside it.
