Norlande is a five times award winning small family run business in Shetland. Guests can enjoy the quiet location during their stay with all rooms having free WiFi. Da Peerie Snug (Single no ensuite budget Room) is on the second floor, its separate bathroom is located on the ground floor, please take this into account when booking. Otherwise it’s perfect if your looking to book the cheapest room in Shetland for a bed at the end of the day. The Superior suite is perfect after exploring all day in Shetland, all our rooms provide free toiletries, a hairdryer and tongs if needed. We provide rooms a continental hamper breakfast in their rooms if booked, the fridges re stocked everyday with, milk, water, orange or apple juice, yoghurt. This property also has one of the best-rated locations in Lerwick, Guests are happier about it compared to other properties in the area. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.5 for a two-person trip. This property is also rated for the best value in Lerwick Guests are getting more for their money when compared to other properties in this town.

Auld Norlande is situated in the centre of Lerwick, with the King Harold flower parks on your door step and within a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The location is also on the door step of the Lerwick Up Helly Aa with 1000 burning torches marching past the guest house on route to burning their Galley in January every year. This is also the same at the mid summers Carnival with floats and foot collectors, singing and dancing past our door step too. We are situated across the road from the Islesburgh centre where Shetlands biggest music festivals happen in May and October over one weekend. The guest house also offers a very peaceful and quiet locating so a perfect nights sleep for our guests. There really is something for everyone at Norlande.
