Great location with beautiful views. Lovely quiet, cosy cottage. We are a family of 6 adults, the cottage is large enough for us to have our own space and not feel crowded but be together for meals etc.

Situated in Penmaenmawr - a small Victorian seaside resort and only 18km from Llandudno Pier. Fantastic sea views at Centuries old Alma's Cottage - sleeps up to 8 guests and features great accommodation with sea views, free Wifi, Smart TV with Netflix and free private parking. This 4 star holiday home is just minutes away from Conwy Castle - a World Heritage site which attracts tourists from around the globe. Caernarfon, Beaumauris and Rhuddlan Castles are just a short car journey away.. The holiday home has a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of pots/pans, baking equipment, dual range cooker (In the utility room there is a washing machine, separate dryer, dishwasher. large f/f, microwave and downstairs toilet. The property has two living rooms, one with a lovely old beamed ceiling, which offer seating areas with comfortable sofas and a dining area. There is also a breakfast room which seats 4 adjacent to the kitchen as well as the dining room (which seats 8). There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms with a walk in shower and a bath. Towels and bed linen are provided as well as toiletries. To the rear of the property is an outside seating area with a table for 8 guests and to the front there is seating where you can enjoy the wonderful sea view. You may even be lucky and see the Northern Lights.
Alma's cottage is a fantastic base for getting to all the wonderful sights that North Wales has to offer. As a family we love coming here and would love to be able to share the experience with others. Whether you like water sports, walking, history, sight seeing, theatre, ambling around, chilling out, it's all close at hand. Amazing walks right from the front door. Head to the Druid Circle and spot the wild ponies, the views are spectacular. Why not drop down to the Fairy Glenn for a pub lunch/evening meal and a game of pool. After a day out in the fresh air, cosy up in the inviting lounge and catch up on your favourite films or have fun rooting in the games cupboard. There's a keyboard for those budding musicians (with volume control!) Feel free to contact me if you would like any further information about the cottage or surrounding area.. Hope to see you soon, Kind Regards, Alison and family.
Penmaenmawr, is a lovely little Victorian village nestled between the sea and the mountains. There is a little museum which shows the amazing history of the area, a variety of independent shops and cafes, a few takeaways, a Spar and a Co-op. There is also a boat club, a beach cafe (seasonal), the beach when the tide is out is amazing and safe for swimming, paddleboarding, canoeing, windsurfing etc. There is a skate park, paddling pool and a playground on the promenade with colourful beachhuts to hire. Summer weekends you can book yourself into the Sblash water park, set in a glorious position. It has great reviews and is literally a five minute walk away. Set on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, it is so central for exploring the beautiful North Wales Coast line. Amazing walks over the mountains from the front door. Conwy, is a few minutes drive away or walk over the mountains and get the bus/train back. We are approximately 20 minutes away from the popular Zip-Wire. Loads to do in Llandudno, from the slot machines on the pier to skiing on the Great Orme. Whatever you do, watch your ice cream, the seagulls are naughty. Enjoy a day at Colwyn Bay Mountain Zoo and head down to the new beach (they do the best Welsh cakes at Bryn Williams). Erias Park has crazy golf, a boating lake, concerts during the summer and a leisure centre. Aber Falls is close by and there are plenty of National Trust /Cadw properties to visit. Pop over to Anglesey, Portmeirion .....the list goes on ! Something for everyone to enjoy.
