Property information

A detached single-story holiday residence set on the fringes of an idyllic rural hamlet. Lovely rustic-style accommodation comprising a sitting room/kitchen with a log burner, two bedrooms, and a modern shower room. Attractive gardens adjoining open countryside. Some lovely rural views and plentiful parking.The pretty hamlet of Rocombe is set within a beautiful rural valley around one mile from Stokeinteignhead. "Apple Cottage" is an attractive single storey holiday residence perfectly set in a peaceful and yet convenient rural setting. The beautifully appointed accommodation has rustic styling and comprises; an entrance hall with exposed timber flooring, a sitting room/kitchen with a vaulted ceiling, log burning stove and a modern kitchen area, two good size bedrooms and a modern shower room. The property enjoys some lovely view s towards nearby and distant countryside and is surrounded by pretty mature gardens and grounds comprising lawns, terraces and gravel seating areas, with the gardens adjoining beautiful open countryside.

Neighbourhood information

The pretty hamlet of Rocombe is set within a beautiful rural valley around one mile from the popular village of Stokeinteignhead. Stokeinteignhead is a popular and picturesque village characterised by a number of pretty cottages also set in a lovely valley. The village lies around 1.5-miles west of the Teign Estuary and relatively close to the villages of Shaldon and Maidencombe with their sandy beaches and access to the wonderful South West coast path. Stokeinteignhead has a 14th Century Church and amenities include a village stores, the popular Church House Inn, a community shop and a modern village hall. The village is surrounded by a good network of green lanes and bridle paths, making for good hacking. The resort of Torquay lies around 6- miles to the south with it's yachting marina, promenades and wide range of facilities.
