Our little piece of heaven is located in the heart of Fortrose village in the Highlands. Although it is right in the centre it is really tucked away and very private. It has off street parking for one car and a secure enclosed garden, ideal for little people. As it is all on one level it would be suitable for guests with limited mobility. The house is a 2 minute walk to the high street where you will find the shops and amenities. The house was recently fully refurbished, all new bathrooms

We have spent many a holiday at Applegrove our family holiday bolthole. My husband grew up here and after living all over the UK we have now finally moved back to live here. We can now let others stay in our special holiday home. We live in the village so if you need anything at all during the time you are with us please just message us and we would be delighted to help out. There is a lock box where the keys will be left and guest will be given the code to access this prior to arrival. We can meet guest at check in if needed

Fortrose is a fantastic village. The sea is on your doorstep. Five minutes walk (we walk down in our wetsuits) and you can be in the sea at the harbour or paddling your kyak off into the blue yonder. In the village just a minutes walk away from the house you have the high st. There is a co-op, a bakers, a butchers, a post office/gift shop, boots the chemist, fish and chip shop, cafes, bars and our favourite, IV10 the deli bistro that is a must eat place for all visitors. A short walk away you have Channory Point which is a renowned place for spotting the dolphins that live in the Moray Firth. You can walk there from Applegrove. Also you have the even bigger beach at Rosemarkie and again some great little cafes for coffee and cake at the end of your walk.
