Family run B&B townhouse in the centre of Montrose. With your own key you’ll be welcome to come and go and you’ll also have access to the guest living room. This is our family home and we have two cats and a very friendly dog so if you love animals then this is the place for you. Free Wifi, hot drinks facilities with shortbread which are restocked daily. En suite shower room finished to a high standard with complimentary soaps from the Scottish fine soaps company. Unique town house with original beams showing, mosaic style table in the kitchen, stone flagging floors, stained glass window and original wooden staircase our house is beaming with character. Full cooked breakfast is provided freshly sourced from our local butchers as well as local bread, preserves and honey and a selection of cereals, fruits, juices, tea and coffee.

Having both worked in the hospitality sector for a total of 18  years between us, you can be sure of a warm but professional welcome from Euan and myself, Gordon after running pubs together for the last five years with Euan cooking up a storm and Gordon being the face of the businesses we got engaged in August 2017, at this point we realised we were living to work not working to live so we backed in our jobs and left the company to set up our own B&B, taking back time for ourselves our animals and our studies. As a guest in our home which includes my baby brother Alexander (typical teenage boy but also with experience in hospitality so he knows how to look after our guests!) and our 3 rescue pets; Bear, an adolescent American bulldog who’s soft as anything; Ruben, a Norwegian Forest cat who thinks he is a snow fox; and Slippers, a bitser moggy who thinks everyone is his new bff - you will need to be pet friendly.In fact, you can bring your own pets if you want to as long as they are happy to socialise with ours. If you are missing your non-human best friend, feel free to adopt ours for the duration of your stay.

Montrose is a quiet harbour town that has a little bit of something for everyone, with two golf courses (including the 5th oldest in the world, don't you know); a three mile long, blue flag beach; and Montrose basin, which is considered a nature reserve of international importance. It is the largest inland salt water basin in the UK, and an important habitat for the pink footed geese where up 70, 000 of these birds winter over from Iceland, on still nights you can hear their calls all over town.
