Barfad Holiday Cottages are located in a perfect location for a romantic getaway to the countryside, or an active sightseeing holiday! Our one bedroom cottage - the chicken coop - is a cosy little cottage for two. Our two bedroom cottage - The Stables cottage - sleeps 4 with one bedroom upstairs containing a king size and a single bed, and a small bedroom downstairs with a single bed. Our second two bedroom cottage - The Dairy - also sleeps 4 with one bedroom with a double and single bed, and a separate small bedroom with a single bed. You have access to the laundry room allowing free access to a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. We can also provide a travel cot if required. Travel cots can be provided if required. Dogs are more than welcome and stay free of charge. Our garden is shared between all cottages and is fully fenced. Barfad Self Catering Cottages is the ideal holiday home base to travel to some of the beautiful islands which surround Argyll & Bute - Gigha, Islay and Arran to mention just a few all of which have ferry terminals within a half hour drive.
I have been managing Barfad self catering holiday cottages for almost a year now and I have really enjoyed this new venture. We also keep our own flock of sheep on the grounds so you may well cast an eye on some of our various breeds of sheep!
A one minute drive - or a 15 minute woodland walk - will take you in to the stunning fishing village of Tarbert. Boasting it's very own castle, restaurants and harbor the friendly picturesque village will give you the warmest of welcomes.
