Summer Cottage is the perfect base to experience the magic of medieval Arundel. This delightful, refurbished character cottage is positioned in the heart of the old town. Within a ‘stone’s throw’ you have easy access to Arundel Castle, the magnificent cathedral and a great selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and independent retailers. This is perfect home with a lounge/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, a contemporary bathroom and a private courtyard. Please note that when booking for 2x guests, 1x double room will be ready your stay. If 2x guests require 2x separate rooms, please book for 3x guests and both double rooms will be ready. The price difference in guests is to allow for additional cleaning and laundry for the extra room.
We live locally in Monks Gate, West Sussex which is around 30 minutes from Arundel. We are available at all times on the phone and if needed, can come to Summer Cottage if you need us.
Arundel is a market town and civil parish in the Arun District of the South Downs, West Sussex, England. The much-conserved town has a medieval castle and Roman Catholic cathedral. Arundel has a museum and comes second behind much larger Chichester in its number of listed buildings in West Sussex. The cottage is located in the heart of Arundel but is still nice and quiet.
