This unique family-friendly Georgian cottage, located in the very heart of Oakham. Quiet location, set within a secluded red brick walled garden next to Oakham Castle, and All Saints Church. You will have full use of the property and private garden with summer house, outside seating and dining areas. Facilities include king and double beds, plus a double sofa bed in a second sitting room leading off the main bedroom. Bathroom with shower, kitchen, lounge, dining room & toilet/utility.
The Cottage is self-check in. Both Ruth and Mark are contactable by mobile phone and email during your stay. Access to the property is provided by gate key code and front door key located in a key safe.
The property is located within a conservation area, in the heart of the rural market town of Oakham with local shops, weekly market, pubs & restaurants all on the doorstep. Next door to Oakham Castle, Oakham School & All Saints Church and close to Rutland Water with it's beach, cycling, sailing, hiking & fishing. Other local towns include historic Stamford with Burghley House, Uppingham & Market Harborough. Oakham train station is within walking distance with links to London, Birmingham, Cambridge. There are Llcal buses, taxis and cycling. Lots of storage space at the property for bikes etc. Parking is available in a public car park around 50m from the property.
