The cottage’s location makes it easy to plan your visit Approximately 30 mins from BIA, 40 mins from Belfast city, with its busy shops restaurants theatres and bars, and 10 mins from the harbour town of Larne & the famous Antrim coastal Road. Local shop/cafe only 5 mins away. In the surrounding area there is plenty for you to-do fishing golf hill walks & trails On Shillanavogy road beside the cottage has outstanding views perfect for photos Maybe you would enjoy a spa day? Only 8 mins away.
We are only next door to you so if there is anything we can help you with it won’t be a problem at all. Jackie
Rural location but very convenient to 3 towns and 2 villages. Car is necessary. A car would be necessary to explore the surrounding area, towns and villages, and not forgetting the famous and fabulous north Antrim coastline. The coastline, with its hidden little picturesque villages, offering harbours, bars and restaurants, all having a story to tell . Not forgetting local Game of Thrones filming locations all around the coastal route. Up behind the cottage is Slemish Mountain the first known Irish home of Saint Patrick. The mountain rises about 1,500 feet above the surrounding plain and is an extinct volcano. Well worth a climb, the views are outstanding.
