Belmont is a wonderful detached bungalow that can be found in the small village of Hesketh Bank, just 20 minutes from the Victorian seaside resort of Southport. Bright, airy, spacious and newly renovated in 2020, it’s a wonderful base for couples and families, and their four legged friends. Hesketh Bank itself is home to ample local amenities including a high end supermarket, farm shop and takeaway. In the neighbouring village of Tarleton you’ll also find a café and a couple of pubs serving good food. An area popular with bird watchers and nature lovers, the Ribble Estuary Natural Nature Reserve is 5,000 acres of salt marsh and is less than 3 miles away. It’s home to an impressive range of wildlife, with more than a quarter of a million migrating water birds feeding in and around the estuary. There’s also Hesketh Out Marsh, Marshside and Martin Mere Nature Reserve all easily accessible.
