Bilberry Nook Cottage is a stone-built, semi-detached cottage in the village of Westgate in Northumbria. The cottage sleeps four people in one king-size double room, one twin bedroom, and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside, you will find off road parking for two small cars, a side patio with furniture, and a front lawned garden. Bilberry Nook Cottage is situated in a lovely part of the country, perfect for a holiday at any time of the year. Note: River outside cottage is unfenced, children to be supervised. Note: Access to the river is by steep stone steps, may not be suitable for the less mobile.

Westgate is a small village in Weardale, popular for walking and cycling. Westgate once marked the boundary of Stanhope Park, the scene of many grand, historical, hunting expeditions. Nearby is Slit Wood, a site of Special Scientific Interest, with interesting footpaths and delightful waterfalls. Westgate is set in rural countryside and is home to a pub, whilst further amenities can be found in the village of Stanhope, five miles away.
