Located close to the village of Sorn, Blackside Cottage offers modern living within a traditional cottage, off the beaten track. Perfect for dog owners, walkers or wildlife enthusiasts, the surrounding countryside offers adventures in every direction. The spacious one bedroom cottage, offers a king bed and a large sofa bed for children, a cosy wood burner and a fully fitted kitchen with top of the range appliances. The cottage is located at the end of a farm track and surrounded by fields and moorland in every direction. There are 9 acres of private land including a 2.5 acre enclosed field for letting dogs off the lead. Blackside Cottage has recently been refurbished. On the ground floor there is a large living room with 2 sofas. One is a sturdy king-sized sofa bed, which is ideal for children. There is a 32 inch smart TV with Freeview and a Netfilx account set up. There is also a cosy wood burner that heats the whole cottage. All logs are supplied and if you run out just let us know and we will bring more. There is a great sized kitchen with everything you would need for cooking any meal, and modern appliances. There is a dishwasher and washer dryer as well as a Nespresso coffee machine, large fridge freezer and state of the art Smeg cooker with electric hob and oven. If there is anything we have missed, just ask! There is a stable door that is great in the summer to keep dogs inside. Upstairs there is the bedroom with a luxurious king sized bed and bathroom with huge roll top bath and hand held shower. Just off the bedroom on the half landing there is a large walk in wardrobe with shelves and hanging space (with hangers). The cottage has central heating controlled by a thermostat and a 250 litre hot water tank with hot water on demand 24 hours a day. It is a very peaceful location with plenty of wildlife just outside the front door
