Welcome to Bliss on the Bay ! Our home from home retreat. This is a New 42ft Platinum Holiday home situated on the Park Holidays Waterside Holiday Park in Goodrington, on an elevated site overlooking the area and taking in the sunshine/Sunset and tranquility of the area. There is a large decking area off the lounge area with large sliding doors with a sofa and chairs to enjoy relaxation in the evenings. The steam train can be viewed from the balcony which at Christmas is covered in lights. The decking is surrounded by Smoked Glass which wraps around the side to ensure full sun or shade as required. There is a dining table which seats up to 6 if needed for alfresco dining or Breakfast in the Morning off the kitchen end. Steps lead up to the decking area with a gate for safety. The holiday villa itself is well furnished with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has steps leading from the parking area below where a designated Parking Bay on the end is located (PLOT M) Main bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with an en-suite Bathroom with Full Sized bath and shower, plus a walk in Wardrobe, a dressing table with a stand for your straighteners/hairdryer ( Hairdryer on site) The second bedroom has full sized twin beds a wardrobe and a small TV. The second Bathroom has a walk in shower. The 5th bed is a fold out sofa chair which is located in the lounge area. All the Bed Linen will be provided and made up for your arrival. We ask that you provide your own towels. A welcome pack to include tea, coffee, sugar etc will be there to help with your initial arrival. Dogs are allowed into designated areas of the bar area up until 9pm in the evening which is when the entertainment starts and will understandable be noisier. There is a restaurant on site or the waterside inn (walkable) is also dog friendly, as is the Breakwater Bistro in Brixham which is located on the seafront. Goodrington there is surfboard and paddle board hire or lessons Also a waterslide park and beach

We really hope you enjoy your stay in our holiday home, we understand that dogs are part of the family as we have a Bella a Pomeranian and Molly a Cottonoodle. The only thing we ask is that you use a throw on the sofa if needed. We foster children and find that having a relaxing non stressful place to go to for our children is Bliss. They love the sandy beach. The area is really dog friendly and there is a beach area at goodrington for the dogs to run. My current teenager is trying to teach the Molly to paddle board with him there. (Think it’s going to take a bit of time 😜). The picnic area on site overlooks the coast.and you can exercise your dog here. Goodrington and Broadsands both have surrounding coves and rock pools. And Elberry and Fairy cove are popular. Dolphins visit off Berry Head in Brixham, plus Paignton zoo and numerous National trust sites. The steam train from Goodrington to Dartmouth with a Cruise is a good day out.
