The property is located in the heart of Port Isaac in a quiet narrow street of white cottages and oozes cottage feel. It comes with everything you need and wifi was veeery welcome with mobile coverage being non-existent.

A stone away from the harbor, but still quite. Comfortable bed, necessary supplies in the kitchen. But most of all, the hosts are very accommodating with quick responses.

Steeped in history, Brakestone Cottage takes its name from a granite block where carts were wedged while loading fishing nets. Located on a traditional pedestrian street in the heart of Port Isaac, this attractive fisherman's cottage, is just a stone's throw from the bustling harbour where the fishing boats land their daily catch. We are only a few steps from the very best seafood restaurants and pub. Stylishly furnished throughout, the cottage sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms.
Hi, we’re Paul & Rachel. We own a beautiful, cute cottage in Port Isaac, one of our favourite places on earth. We have two teenage children and a crazy spaniel called Charlie. We both work full time and love getting away whenever we can.
Port Isaac has many wonderful restaurants, including the Michelin star Nathan Outlaw restaurants, and two Pubs. The Golden Lion has a balcony that overlooks the harbour, perfect for watching the fantastic sunsets. The Golden Lion, The Mote, and Nathan Outlaws are only a few steps from our cottage. Fresh fish, crab and lobster can be bought direct from the fishermen at the harbour which is just 50 yards away. Nearby beaches include Polzeath Trebawith Daymer Bay Rock And nearby Padstow has more great shops and restaurants including Rick Steins. Our favourite way to visit Padstow is via the ferry from Rock. Anyone who’s visited Port Isaac will know that it has beautiful narrow old streets that were designed for carts not cars. Parking is sometimes an issue as the village car parks can fill up on busy days. We really recommend renting our dedicated space at the top of the village which will mean even on busy days you’ll always have somewhere convenient too park after a trip out. It does require a walk up the main hill, but it’s much closer than the main village car park. Please enquire for rental details.
