We have been lucky enough to live in the Falmouth area for the best part of 25 years & have fallen in love with this particular bit of the coastline. When the derelict barns came on the market back in 2013, we embarked on the project of a lifetime. No planning permission, just a huge amount of potential. After a lot of hard work, we love welcoming guests to our little piece of paradise. When not working, I am usually found on the beach with the dogs, or in the sea with friends. We live in the main house on the same piece of land, so are available should you need us, but give you your privacy. We have two other rental properties here. Each of the 3 properties have virtually complete privacy and so you will hardly notice the other peoples presence. Everyone has their own parking spot and space to breathe....

Bream Barn is a spacious dog friendly little cosy lodge/barn set within a pretty two acre garden, with a lovely distant sea view, open plan fully equipped kitchen/dining area/lounge, cosy woodburner, large bedroom (with king size bed, vi-spring mattress), huge shower, charcoal BBQ, outdoor table and chairs. Located between sandy Maenporth beach (10-15mins walk) & the pretty village of Mawnan Smith (also 10-15 mins walk) with cafes and restaurants within walking distance & a good thatched pub called the Red Lion. It is also a short walk to beautiful Bream Cove, which is great for swimming and rockpooling, it's usually deserted even in mid summer! We are 10 mins drive to vibrant Falmouth with its beaches, shops and many restaurants and bars. Bream Barn is secluded, but in a private beautiful coastal setting, and a great base for many places in Cornwall, being so accessible for attractions to the west and east of Cornwall, but also very accessible to fabulous coastline if you don't want to venture too far. Everyone loves Bream Barn and that is apparent when you read our many Airbnb reviews and also see how many people are return customers! Please note dogs are welcome but there is a 15 pounds charge per stay to cover wear and tear and also extra cleaning, and we also have a set of rules for bringing dogs - nothing wouldn't expect!

Meudon is a very tranquil area yet so convenient for Falmouth (10 mins drive) and the Helford River (4 mins drive). Bream Barn is a larch timber clad detached barn set amongst 2 acres of beautifully sheltered gardens with huge trees, fruit trees and pretty flower beds. Bream Barn is set within the hamlet of Meudon which consists of a few houses, a dairy farm, the Hotel Meudon with its fabulous restuarant, cocktail bar and beautiful tropical garden which extend down to Bream Cove. The neighbourhood is very quiet, but close to all amenities. It really is a wonderful place to spend time, so very relaxing! A car is recommended yet not essential because within walking distance you can walk to a well equipped shop, go to the pub, buy a good coffee, visit the hotel with amazing food and a cocktail bar, and take your choice of beaches to visit!
