There are many exciting local attractions, restaurants and shops in Scarborough like:-Sealife Centre, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Open Air Theatre, The Spa Complex, Crofts Artisan Chocolates, Brunswick Shopping Centre. and near by attractions like:-Flamingo Land, Eden Camp History Museum, Castle Howard. Plus many more....Scarborough Cricket Club's history spans a century and a half, the club being founded in 1849 when the first matches were played on castle hill. Scarborough Cricket Club has 5 local teams who play in the Senior Premier League, York and District Senior league and local leagues. Scarborough also host Yorkshire County Cricket Club, other ECB representative games, under 19 and ladies test matches. Attractions close to Brightwater include parks, sandy beaches, pitch and putt, crazy golf, combat zone, miniature railway, open air theatre, cinema, swimming pool and indoor and out doors bowls centre. These are all situated in the North Bay area. Towards South Bay there is Scarborough Castle and in South bay there is a small fun fair plus many arcades and other seaside attractions. We are close to the town centre.
