Briscoe Lodge in Windermere is a family run traditional Victorian guesthouse built in 1891 and ideally situated in the heart of the beautiful English Lake District.
Briscoe Lodge retains many of its original features whilst offering cosy, modern rooms and friendly, welcoming staff. Rooms come with TV, DVD player (with access to a DVD library), hairdryer and a well stocked refreshment tray.
Please note that we no longer offer a full cooked breakfast option however INCLUDED in the room price are a range of cereals, toast, yoghurts, fruit and drinks which guests can help themselves to between 8-10am. There are many cafes and restaurants in Windermere that now offer full breakfasts.
Bowness and Lake Windermere are within walking distance and the train and bus stations are a 10 minute walk. Bowness and Windermere offer a wide range of excellent tourist attractions, shops, restaurants and bars for you to enjoy.
Safe on street parking can usually be found either directly outside or a very short walk from Briscoe Lodge.
