In the centre of Builth Wells, Bronwye Guest House is a 4-star rated bed and breakfast on the route of the Wye Valley Walk. Dating back to the 19th century, this Powys guest house offers river views, a full Welsh breakfast, and free parking and Wi-Fi. Each room has en suite bathroom facilities with shower and complimentary toiletries. There is a flat-screen TV, wardrobe, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities in all rooms. A full Welsh breakfast is served, along with various lighter options and a vegetarian version. There is also a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and juice. Bronwye is located adjacent to the newly established Groe Parkrun. By the River Wye, this mid-Wales market town is home to Builth Castle, the Royal Welsh Showground and one of the area’s many golf courses, which is 2 minutes’ drive from Bronwye Guest House. The Brecon Beacons National Park and the border with Herefordshire lie around 30 minutes’ drive to the south of Builth Wells.

For June, July and August if you require a 1 night stay please call directly to confirm availability for the best deal The best place to stay in Builth Wells is the four star Bronwye Guest House (graded by Visit Wales), situated overlooking the beautiful River Wye, the UK's longest river. A warm friendly welcome, comfortable stay and plentiful breakfast is guaranteed. Bronwye combines Victorian character with modern comfort. Our aim is to surpass your expectations. As the closest Visit Wales graded guest house and bed & breakfast to the Royal Welsh Showground we are the only accommodation situated directly onto the Groe park, where our parkrun takes place every Saturday (returning soon!!). Bronwye is only 200 metres from the town centre, independent shops, several pubs, cafes and restaurants, where we are able to reserve tables during your stay as necessary. It really is the perfect location, conveniently situated for events at The Royal Welsh Showground, Golf courses, The Wye Valley Walk, The Heart of Wales Line Trail, Cycling, Fishing, Canoeing and generally chilling out. We can also arrange bespoke tours around the countryside with a local specialist - Welsh Overland Safari - see great waterfalls, hills and exquisite scenery. In addition bespoke guided walks are on offer for small group adventures in the wild spaces of Wales We have been awarded the Certificate of Excellence by Tripadvisor each year, a rating of 9.8 by Booking, and we have also achieved the Recognition of Excellence The Wye Valley straddles the border between England and Wales. It is home to some of the most attractive, scenic landscapes in the UK, and was established officially as an Area of Natural Beauty in 1971.

Builth Wells is a beautiful market town sitting astride Britan's favourite river, the stunning River Wye. It is the perfect base for any visit to Wales as it's central location makes anywhere in Wales within a comfortable day trip reach. Builth is home to the Royal Welsh showground which hosts Europe's largest agricultural show, every July. Bronwye enjoys the best location in Builth, just 200 metres from the town centre, shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes and overlooking the park and River Wye.
