Brookside Byre is a luxury 3 bedroom holiday cottage nestled in open countryside yet just outside of Durham City, with beautiful views across the Wear Valley. A converted single storey barn designed to be access friendly and family groups in mind. The cottage has 3 bedrooms all of which can be arranged as kings or twins to suit your needs best, the cottage also benefits from a tiled wet room and shower ensuite, with open plan living perfect for group get togethers. Brooksides Byre is only 4 miles from Durham City yet surrounded by peaceful countryside and Brancepeth Village only a short walk away. Short breaks are welcome and all guests staying with us enjoy discount vouchers to many of the local attractions.
David and I have lived at Littlewhite farm for over 20 years and Davids father before him. The farm and the cottages are very much a family business, we have designed the cottages with guest comfort at the heart, thinking of what we like on holiday without loosing the character of the buildings. we are very lucky to live in a beautiful part of the countryside yet so close to the main cities of the North East
Brookside Byre on a working family farm enjoying views of the surrounding countryside yet only 4 miles from the city of Durham. Brookside Byre is a perfect base for work or holiday allowing you the peace and quiet yet so very close to the city of Durham and nearby to Newcastle, Beamish and Northumberland.
