Bryn Ffynnon is a cosy detached period cottage half way up a Welsh mountain with some stunning views of the peaks of Snowdonia but only a mile from the unspoilt market town of Llanrwst with it's wealth of independent shops to explore. We are fully equipped with everything you might need for an enjoyable holiday in glorious North Wales (and that does include a washing machine and tumble dryer!) .
Although the cottage is fully modernised we have kept many of the period features including a wood burning stove for you to curl up in front of (full central heating too - and under your control!).
We welcome up to 2 dogs of any breed (maybe more if you get in touch first!)
I have always loved this part of the world. My family is from Pentrefoelas ( just the other side of the mountain) and as keen walkers and hikers it drew us back a few years ago. Bryn Ffynnon is very much our second home.
Bryn Ffynnon is perectly placed to explore all of North Wales (and our guests agree). The high adrenalin zip wirs at ZipWorld are easily reached along with the other ZipWorld attractions. Surf Snowdonia is close by and we're a mere 5 miles from the walking centre of Betws y Coed. Fancy tackling Snowdon? That's close too. We keep all the local maps in the cottage for you to use whilst you're staying with us and a folder of some suggested walks to get you started.
If a more relaxed holiday is what you had in mind then there are beaches, mountain railways, castles and lots lots more. Llanrwst is home to a number of excellent tea rooms and an award winning curry house. Some lovely country pubs to visit too. If you don't fancy going out then there is an attractive mature (and private) garden for you to enjoy with some fabulous views.
