Sitting within ten acres of land, the cottage is surrounded by woodland, meadows and a pond with an abundance of wildlife on the doorstep. Buttermere Cottage is three miles from the towns of Cockermouth and Lorton, both filled with shops and restaurants, and just a six-mile drive from the quieter western lakes, including Ennerdale, winner of Britain's Best View.
