Gorgeous pet-friendly cottage in Eryri (Snowdonia) with stunning waterfall views, 3 bedrooms (6 beds), 2 bathrooms. Super-fast Wi-fi. Cosy former miner's cottage in scenic surroundings in the picturesque Penmachno valley. Ideal to explore Betws-y-Coed and Eryri. The slate floored sitting room is warmed by a wood-burner set in a stone fireplace, while the large kitchen/dining area has a high ceiling giving a feeling of space. Doors lead out onto the patio seating area. Gas central heating, smart TV. Bwthyn Angell is in the picturesque Penmachno valley. A cosy, semi detached former miner's cottage situated in scenic, secluded surroundings ideally located to explore the Snowdonia National Park and climb Snowdon. High speed fibre optic broadband makes it possible to work from the property. The countryside around Bwthyn Angell is magnificent, with stunning country scenery, occasional waterfalls, and slate quarries to explore within walking distance.
My family and I enjoy all the outdoor activities Wales has to offer such as walking, mountain biking, wild swimming, road biking and gorge walking. I am from Wales originally but moved to the South East of England for work. However the call of Wales (Hiraeth) meant we found this gorgeous place in Snowdonia for which I am forever grateful
Bwthyn Angell is in the picturesque Penmachno valley. A cosy, semi detached former miner's cottage situated in scenic, secluded surroundings ideally located to explore the Snowdonia National Park and climb Snowdon. The countryside around Bwthyn Angell is magnificent, with stunning country scenery, occasional waterfalls, and slate quarries to explore within walking distance. Within easy reach of the cottage is the popular Penmachno Mountain Bike trail and the Gwydir Forest Park for walking and mountain biking (Marin trail). The outdoor pursuits centre of Betws-y-Coed and all of the delights of the Snowdonia National Park including rock climbing, Zip World and Bounce Below are found close-by. The Go Below mine exploration is literally half a mile from the cottage. Antur Stiniog bike park (with its uplift service) and Coed y Brenin MTB centre are also within easy reach. Slightly further afield are the towns of Beddgelert and Llanberis, with the possibility to climb Snowdon or ride the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
