Fell View Cabin, is in the be as beautiful village of Cumwhitton 8 miles from Brampton and Carlisle. it started life as a single garage, now a beautiful tiny cabin, with all you need for a self-catering holiday, Smart TV you'll need to log into your own Netflix, Amazon account, as no one ve TV channels. The double bed was designed and made locally, especially for The Cabin, it has a good quality mattress, quality bedding and a British wool quilt. It's a bit quirky but with quality in mind, it's definitely a room with a view. IV tried to use as much reclaimed materials as possible, in the design of the cabin shower room, the wood panelling are old pine ledge and brace doors that someone was taking to the tip 5+ years ago, I kept them all these years knowing I would use them, it took a bit of time and patience to take them apart but I love the end result.

I know the area very well as I love getting out and exploring with my spaniel Bracken. We wild swim, evening the winter, walk miles locally, Hadrian's wall and in The Lakes. I also enjoy road cycling, we have an amazing area to cycle in, peaceful undulating lanes, and challenging hills, Hartside Pass Climb is a scenic 1.5-hour cycle from here. The Cabin is in a very peaceful, pretty farming village, with village greens, and a stream. we are lucky to have a great pub two minutes walk, also Dog friendly, you do need to book. This is a great location as you are away from the busy Lakes District but nearer enough to go and explore and then come back to peaceful lanes and a beautiful location, Hadrians wall is just 10 miles, and Banks Turret just through Lanercost Priory is one of my favourites. You will l need a car or bike, as no buses.
