"Bumble bee" at Clematis cottage, located in the parish of Hopton Wafers in Hopton Bank offers a restful haven to relax and recharge. On the doorstep of this immaculate self-contained recently renovated Cottage Annex you will find our local shop and Methodist chapel. 2 miles in one direction you will find a bigger Premier convenience store, a great chip shop, boutique cafe and Pub. In another direction 1 mile away, a Hotel with its bar and restaurant for a glass or two in front of the log fire. Slightly further afield, several takeaway or eat in restaurants, Indian and Thai, are to be found in the Town of Cleobury mortimer. You will also find a unique choice of excellent C16 Pubs with restaurants in the local villages around and about to tempt you, as well as the town of Ludlow itself not to be forgotten. For the adventurous, you can explore by foot or bike or some 12,000 acres of common land directly behind our cottage, in this unique corner of the South Shropshire Hills an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its 40mile views over four English counties reputedly "the best view in England".
