Charlie’s Cottage is a Grade-II* listed timber-framed property. The self-catering holiday homes features a sitting room, kitchen, two bedrooms (king sized bed and a single bed), bathroom and courtyard garden. It has wonderful historical character mixed with modern luxury and is only a 4-minute level walk from the train station and a 2-minute walk to the start of the town. The front door leads into the sitting room which has a wonderful cushioned window seat – a perfect spot to sit and read the paper or watch the world go by. The Georgian oak table seats 3 comfortably. There is wooden flooring throughout the ground floor, a three-seater sofa, occasional armchair, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, free Wi-Fi and broadband and USB charger sockets fitted in every room (ex. the bathroom). For the cooler nights there is wood-burning effect electric fire and all rooms have radiators. The sitting room leads onto a well-equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, built in single oven, extractor hood, under-counter SMEG fridge, small freezer, built-in dishwasher, coat rack & top of the range appliances (sorry, no washing machine). Please note, the original staircase is relatively steep and narrow and may not be suitable for children or those with mobility difficulties. Free "on-street" parking for 1 car (we manage a digital pass)
