Newbiggin by the sea. Is a coastal town known for its idyllic beach that makes for excellent evening strolls, striking sunrises and a bay teaming with marine life. You can wander along Northumberland’s longest promenade and take in views of the bay and the UK’s famous offshore sculpture The Couple. Discover and explore the history of Newbiggin by the sea at the Maritime Centre, a lovely little museum which celebrates the industry’s and people of the the town. Or you could simply relax with fish and chips from the award winning traditional fish shop on the front street. This is a perfect location to discover all of the beautiful Northumberland coast.
