Beautiful house, everything was to a high standard and extremely clean. We loved the location as it was so close to the high street with shops and restaurants but still quiet. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

An immaculately presented period cottage benefitting from delightful aspects to the front over the Church of Saint Mary. The accommodation comprises of hallway, living room, kitchen diner, first-floor landing, Two spacious bedrooms, and a four-piece house bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed courtyard to the rear with an outdoor store and garden furniture. On-street parking close to the property when available. Church View Cottage is ideally situated in the heart of the village with all that Whalley has to offer within walking distance.
A charming village with interesting shops and galleries, where old cottages mix with Tudor and Georgian buildings along the High Street. Whalley is famous for its church and abbey. Whalley Abbey was a large and important Cistercian monastery. The Abbey ruins are now open to the public and are protected as an important ancient monument. In addition to charming grade II-listed cottages and quaint alleyways, Whalley has an unrivaled natural beauty. Within walking distance lies, many rolling hills and stunning landscapes with an abundance of beautiful walks, bike trails, and bridle paths. More locally within the Ribble Valley, you will find an eclectic mix of fantastic bars, restaurants, and eateries including the Michelin-starred Northcote Manor, The Three Fishes, Freemasons at Wiswell, The Inn at Whitewell, and Bowland Brewery. Further afield from the centrally located village of Whalley are fantastic motorway links to Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, Chester, the Lake District, Peak District, and Yorkshire Dales.
