The property has been refurbished to a very good standard with stylish, modern decor and furnishings throughout. There are stunning views of the Esk River to one side and the abbey on the other, which is lit up at night. Please note that there are steep stairs, which may be unsuitable for those less mobile. The property provides the perfect base for couples looking to explore this beautiful coastline and is within easy walking distance of the bus and train stations. Whitby itself has much to offer. The town centre is literally 20 yards from the property where you can find a large selection of pubs, quaint antique and gift shops, where you can but the famous Whitby Jet jewellery. There are also some excellent award winning restaurants where you sample many mouth watering seafood dishes that Whitby is famous for. The golden, sandy beach is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and is 3 miles long.
