It is located with stunning views of Brunel’s world-renowned Royal Albert Bridge (1859) and the Tamar Bridge (1961). 5 mins away is the China Fleet Golf and Country Club which has a spa, beauty salon, restaurant, play area, riverside walk and crazy golf. Private use of the field shown is included in the rental and is ideal for a picnic. Nothing is better than a glass of wine outside by the fire pit at night enjoying the view of the bridges. A Cornish Cream Tea welcomes you upon arrival. Looe and Polperro are a 30 minute drive away. Our property is also in easy reach of stunning beaches such as Whitsand Bay, Lansallos & Mothecombe. Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are also nearby. Most of Devon and Cornwall can be reached in a day trip.

Cockles Farm is a family business and is run and manged by two generations who all live at the farm. The land has been owned by our family for nearly 50 years and we love living here. We have chickens, ducks, peafowl, cats and a dog called Molly. We are keen to be as environmentally friendly as possible and have drafted up some car free sustainable travel trips that you can embark on should you so wish.

The bungalow is situated in a semi-rural location 15 minutes walk from the Cornish gateway town of Saltash and a 10 minute walk from the China Fleet Golf and Country Club. There are several local retail parks with shops that include Waitrose, Lidl, Iceland, McDonalds and Costa Coffee which can be accessed via a scenic walk or cycle that takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Saltash town centre has a host of independent shops and cafes as well as a post office, off licenses, Coop and bus stops (including National Express). The railway station is five minutes from the town centre. The River Tamar Waterfront is ideal to launch a canoe or kayak. There is a coffee shop and pub - a 15 minute walk away or 5 minutes in the car. Saltash train station is 15 minutes walk from the bungalow and is serviced by most mainline trains. There is a National Express bus stop 15 minutes walk away. The A38 is easily accessed providing quick vehicle access to all of Devon and Cornwall. We are on the Saltash cycle network, currently being expanded to improve access throughout SE Cornwall. Extensive local and continental ferry services available from Plymouth which is within a 20 minute drive. We have prepared a unique series of Discovery Adventure day trips which capitalise on the location of the site which is within easy walk or cycle access to train, bus, cycle and ferry services and which will introduce you to the real gems of South East Cornwall, West Devon, Dartmoor and the Ocean City of Plymouth.
