Enjoy the perfect comfortable base to explore Richmond and the Yorkshire dales from this recently renovated Grade II listed property, with views of the Castle, Market Place and Culloden Tower. Nest thermostat controlled central heating with underfloor heating in kitchen and bathroom. Bus services to Swaledale and Wensleydale from your doorstep. Superfast Broadband, comfortable workstation and all premium TV channels.

This is my home for most of the year because I love the area and it's proximity to the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales where I very much enjoy walking. I also let my place to guests some of the year because I enjoy travelling myself. So while I am away, hopefully you'll love it as much as I do. I will remain attentive to communications wherever I am and the local housekeeping team will be able to respond to any problems.

Richmond is the perfect base for exploring Swaledale and Wensleydale with the benefit of having plenty shops as well as cafes, restaurants & pubs centred round the marketplace to keep you entertained in the evenings. There are shorter walks directly from Richmond itself, to Easby Abbey, Hudswell Woods, along the Swale, the old racecourse etc. On or around the square you will find Richmond castle, Green Howards' museum, Richmondshire museum, indoor market, outdoor market (Saturday & Wednesday). Horse racing enthusiast will love a visit to Catterick racecourse or a visit to the training centre of Middleham where you can walk along the gallops and watch the horses exercise. For children, the Forbidden Corner near Middleham is worth a visit if you have the car.
