Welcome to Cooden Cottage, Example Retreats' cottage by the sea! We are George and Ella, the Example Retreats team and hosts of Cooden Cottage. Both previously working in education, we now run our holiday let business and raise our two children. We aim to provide a home from home stay, with a luxurious hotel-like feel for families, pet lovers, and groups of friends wanting a more intimate experience - tailoring your stay to you!

Cooden Cottage was built in the 1920s in the beautiful seaside town of Bexhill-on-sea. Situated only 2 minutes from the beach, our holiday cottage is designed to be a home from home - with a few added luxuries!
