The apartment is perfectly located for exploring this lovely part of Cornwall. With the traditional town of St Ives, golden sandy beaches and coastal walks all within easy reach, you’ll find plenty of reasons to get out and about. If you fancy sampling some of the area’s local delicacies, Hayle Quay is only a short walk away, where you can pick up this evening’s dinner straight from the fishing boats. Hayle boasts three miles of golden sands so you are never too far from a beach, with North Quay beach only a short walk away. Across the road from the property, on the far side of the estuary, you can see the King George V Memorial Walk, with an award-winning collection of plants and shrubs. At the North Quay end of this walk you will find the Hayle Outdoor Swimming Pool with the lovely little Riviere café. You can walk through Hayle town, towards Penpol Terrace where you will find a lovely place to pop in for a coffee, called Duckies Cafe. The property is only a few minutes’ drive from Godrevy Beach, with its iconic lighthouse (do visit the Godrevy Café). Access to Marazion, Newlyn, Mousehole and the rest of the coastal areas of the stunning West Cornwall peninsular are all accessible from this great location. When you are in Hayle, be sure to get into the Cornish feeling and sample one of the famous Philps Pasties, and the amazing ice-cream Mr B’s has to offer, you will not be disappointed! For a fun filled family day out take a short drive over to Paradise Park; it has over 100 birds and animals and is also home to the World Parrot Trust. End the day by heading back to St Ives and grab an amazing dinner at Blas Burgerworks.
