Our log cabin sits in the grounds of our home. It is enclosed and self contained with its own separate entrance to preserve your privacy. Our property backs on to a public park and playground and there is direct access via the garden. We are located about 1.5 miles from Chester city and 1.5 miles from Chester Racecourse. For walkers, either can be reached by foot in about 20- 25 minutes. Chester Zoo is about a 3 mile drive or bus ride from our cabin. Chester is well served by public transport and there is a bus stop outside our property. During the day, buses run every 10-15 minutes into the city centre. From there you can take a bus or train to all the surrounding areas and cities, such as Liverpool or Manchester or even the North Wales Coast. Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village provides great shopping and it too, can be reached on the bus. Chester boasts a plethora of dining options, catering for all tastes and budgets. On the Greyhound Retail Park, about a mile away, there are supermarkets and coffee shops, as well as KFC and MacDonald. We have both Sky sports and BT sports as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video for your entertainment.

As a life long traveller myself, I have first hand experience of what makes for a comfortable stay away from home. I hope to be able to provide you with a lovely experience when you stay in the cabin. I use good quality bed linens from Laura Ashley and Silent Night for your comfort. There are tea and coffee making facilities and free toiletries.

The cabin is in a suburb of Chester, about 1.5 from the centre. There are bicycle paths nearby and a walkable tow path on the Chester Canal, which is a branch of the Shropshire Union Canal. Small shops are within walking distance of the cabin, although the bigger supermarkets are just a five minute drive away. Chester is served by UBER and many food delivery outlets.
