Glenview is a traditional quarryman's cottage located in the village of Cilgerran overlooking the River Teifi with a lovely riverside walk to Cilgerran Castle. A spacious, 3 bedroom house that has a patio and grass terrace with views overlooking the impressive Teifi Gorge. The Wildlife Wetland Centre is nearby and we are 6 miles from a beautiful dog-friendly sandy beach. With a cosy woodburning stove and spacious accommodation you can expect a very comfortable stay at Glenview Cottage. There is a parking space directly opposite the house and ample additional parking at the bottom of the hill in the carpark. Maps of the area are available in the cottage.
Gwyn was born and grew up in Cardigan town and Anna has been visiting family and friends in the area since 1976! In 2005 we bought this old quarryman's cottage which we visit regularly and like to share with our growing family. We are pleased to offer this house and garden for rent and hope that visitors will enjoy this lovely part of the country with fabulous beaches. Although we don't live nearby we have family and friends in the area should you need any assistance and we will respond quickly to any questions you might have.
A lovely walk in one direction along the river will take you to Cilgerran Castle which hosts a range of family events throughout the year. In the other direction you will arrive at the lovely Castell Malgwyn Hotel where you can stop for lunch or afternoon tea. A short walk from the cottage is the Cilgerran Village Shop, cafe and Post Office which is open 7 days a week and supports local produce, eco friendly products and a refill service.
