Cosy Cottage is a traditional period stone cottage on a small side road in the heart of Youlgrave. There's a cosy lounge in which to relax at the end of the day. You can nestle down on the comfortable sofa, warm yourself in front of the log burning stove and watch your favourite movie on the Smart T.V. On sunny days you can relax in the enclosed garden and maybe eat al fresco on the patio furniture. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - a double/twin and a bunk bedded room. There's a family bathroom with bath and shower over. There is street parking on Moor Lane.

We’re Mark and Helena Tendall. Mark began his career as a building contractor and Helena as a teacher. In 2018, once our children had flown the nest, we set off on a new adventure and took on a bed and breakfast in the Lake District, which we loved running for five years. During that time, our family grew with the arrival of grandchildren, and we soon felt the pull back to the Midlands so we could be close to them and enjoy watching them grow up. That journey brought us to Youlgrave - a beautiful, welcoming village with a great sense of community and plenty going on. Combining our hospitality experience with Mark’s building skills, we took on 2 Moor Lane as a renovation project, transforming it into a beautifully appointed holiday let. Our hope is to share both the stunning Peak District countryside and the charm of Youlgrave Village with everyone who comes to stay.

Cosy Cottage is in the beautiful village of Youlgrave. Three welcoming village pubs, two well-stocked village shops, 3 cafes and oodles of walks from the door. Nearby are Chatsworth House, The Heights of Abraham, Poole's Tavern and Buxton Country Park and The Deception Escape Rooms.
