The Cottage in Brough is a cosy Cumbria cottage in the heart of the stunning Eden Valley, with rolling Lakeland hills and the Yorkshire Dales a short drive away. We are ideally situated for exploring local walks and countryside and if you’re attending weddings at the nearby Eden Barn. Further afield is the market town of Kirkby Stephen, where you will find numerous independent shops, cafes pubs and restaurants. The Cottage in Brough accommodates up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms, and we are dog-friendly!

The Village of Brough is a walkers and cyclists paradise. Located in the Eden valley you are a short drive to the Lake District and The Yorkshire Dales. The village boasts 2 pubs, a fine dining restaurant, a bistro, a fish and chip shop and a convenience store. Spectacular walks from the doorstep include a gorgeous river walk. Fell walks in the Lakes or The Yorkshire Dales are a short drive away. The Market towns of Kirkby Stephen and Appleby are both a 5 minute drive along the A66, or further along enjoy a day out in Penrith
