“The location was great for restaurants/pubs and also a couple of doors from the local convenience store.
The village is very quiet, for both people and traffic. The only busy-ish time was in the morning when locals may have been going to work....”

16th Century Grade II listed thatched cottage in the beautiful village of Mickleton in the North Cotswolds. Fully furnished to a high standard. Large kitchen with dining table and chairs. A cosy lounge with inglenook fireplace with electric fire. A beautiful master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite with corner bath and separate shower. Twin single beds with a separate toilet, basin and shower cubicle. Mickleton is a pretty village with the famous Pudding Club and two country pubs within a short walk.
I moved to Mickleton with my Husband Steve in 2017 and we fell in love with the village. My hobbies are gardening, walking, cooking & travelling. We live very close to the cottage and are available to help with advice or information to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing . We are looking forward to welcoming guests to our beautiful cottage and Mickleton.
Steve and I live in the village a five minute drive from the cottage should you need help with anything.
Mickleton is located in the most northerly conservation area of the Cotswold District within the cusp of three shire counties. Mickleton has predominately Cotswold stone properties, old black and white timber thatched cottages as well as pretty cottages dotted around the village. The village is dominated by the St. Lawrence Church spire surrounded by an informal layout. There are many different street patterns and alleys which make it interesting to walk around admiring the pretty gardens and buildings. The village has a long history dating back to before the Domesday Book. There is a very impressive back drop of Meon Hill with its Iron Age hill fort. You can see views of the three shire counties. Great place for walking through the countryside.
We have a garage should you wish to use it or you can park your car outside in our designated parking area. There is also plenty of off street parking. There is a local bus service with a short walk from the cottage to the bus stop. We have details of local taxi firms at the cottage.
