Cottage On The Brook is an idyllic, self contained Holiday Cottage located in Braithwaite on the edge of Coledale Brook at the foot of the Whinlatter Pass. The Cottage, which is pet and family friendly, offers a well equipped farmhouse kitchen, spacious lounge with log burner and three well designed bedrooms. It's also perfect for outdoor enthusiasts offering a dedicated Boot Room for the storage of Bikes/SUPS and hiking equipment. Off road parking for two/three vehicles is available.
We're dedicated lovers of all things outdoors and living right next door to the cottage we're on hand as your hosts to ensure your holidays goes smoothly. Need advice on the best pubs to visit for great food and a welcoming atmosphere? Let us know, we're happy to give our recommendations! We can also give guidance on great walks from the door, the shortest route to Keswick on foot and where to find the quietest and most tranquil spots to take a dip in the numerous lakes and pools. Whatever you need to make a good trip a great memory just let us know and we'll do our best to help.
Located 2.4 miles west of Keswick, Braithwaite is known as the Gateway to the Whinlatter Pass and Western Lakes. A charming village with a perfect mix of residents and tourists, you'll find three traditional pubs, a cafe and Village Shop on your doorstep.
