This lovely holiday lodge is a perfect place to relax and offers a fully equipped kitchen, 2 tv’s and internet access. It has private car parking and an enclosed garden (secure for one well-behaved dog). There’s one bedroom (completely separate from the additional sofa bed in the living area) so can sleep up to 4. The nicely designed bathroom has a shower bath and is situated between the 2 sleeping areas, so excellent for privacy. It’s walking distance to cafes, restaurants & shops

I have 5 grandchildren, 2 of which are home-taught since the pandemic started and so I have them both for an afternoon each week to try and help with their lessons. Another one of them is 5 and has just started school and I get to meet her from school on Wednesdays and bring her home, after going to the park and walking our little bichon Lulu. Then I have a 16 year old granddaughter who’s at secondary school and a grandson who is almost 18. Love then all to bits! I’ll be available to offer help throughout your stay and I will give you my mobile number to contact me

The actual street where the lodge is - Fleetgate - is a very old street and it’s history goes a long way back. Across the road is one of the oldest houses (if not the oldest) house in Barton. On the road it has an Indian restaurant, a cafe, a pub and even a beauty parlour! You can get to the shops, restaurants, coffee bars and tea rooms quite easily by foot. You can even walk to see the Humber bridge and then walk on the Humber bank.
