We've spent the last year converting a large outbuilding in the garden into spacious, light and airy accommodation over 2 floors with an interior balcony and a balcony protruding into the canopy of the huge Walnut Tree. The contemporary design is open plan, ideally for couples and is dog friendly. There is a Bo Concept foot stool that opens out into a single bed. On request, this can placed upstairs for a child or downstairs for an adult. There is also a travel cot available on request. Natural flooring throughout; the first floor is the bedroom area and the living, kitchen & dining downstairs with the shower room also downstairs. Over all the space is more than 70 square metres (750 square feet) with a double height ceiling and an interior balcony. I trained in opera and as we are only 10 minutes from Snape Maltings I enjoy hosting musicians. There is a piano in the Lodge which you are welcome to play (respectfully of course). In the main house I run a B&B so I can offer breakfast for an additional cost. The ingredients are sourced locally where possible and a guest favourite is my plum compote flavoured with star anise and cinnamon, served with a dollop of ginger yogurt and a sprinkle of pecan & treacle granola. The bread is very delicious and the marmalade award winning! Do let me know if you'd like to bring a dog. I have 3 very sweet, gentle and now quite senior pets at the property; 2 Boston Terriers - Cornelius & Kiki who sadly is now blind and a cat - Otto, who lost his tail when we first moved here in 2015. The dogs are very gentle with children and can sense if a child is nervous.
