CHUGGS CHILL OUT – PROPERTY OVERVIEW Chuggs Chill Out is a character filled 2 bed thatched retreat in the heart of Croyde. Once a part of an 18th-century farm, it has been beautifully restored to blend rustic charm with modern comfort. Set in a private garden with a fire pit, BBQ, and optional cedar wood hot tub, it's the perfect base for a peaceful coastal break. Just a 2-minute walk to the village centre and 15 minutes to the beach, the location offers both convenience and tranquillity. Inside, expect original beams, driftwood handrails, a stone fireplace with bread oven, and murals by local artist Steve P.P., all contributing to the cottage’s unique coastal style. LIVING AREA Open-plan and inviting, the lounge/dining area includes comfy seating, a smart TV, games, and a dining table for five. The stone fireplace adds warmth and character (log burner not in use). KITCHEN The kitchen features a Total Control electric AGA, hot plates, Smeg fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and high-quality cookware - ideal for easy self-catering. BEDROOMS Upstairs, the master bedroom includes a vaulted ceiling, super king-size bed, pull-out child’s bed, and TV. The second bedroom has bunk beds and a TV/DVD - great for kids. BATHROOMS Ground floor: shower room with washer and dryer. First floor: family bathroom with shower-over-bath. OUTDOOR SPACE The garden includes a decked area, optional cedar hot tub (one hundred ninety-five pounds), oil drum BBQ, fire pit, outdoor shower, and handcrafted furniture. Parking for two cars via gated driveway. GOOD TO KNOW Wi-Fi, linen, and towels (including hot tub towels) included. No pets. Low beams, steep stairs, and decorative surfboards (not for use). Stair gate fitted at top of stairs for piece of mind.
