Upstairs, you’ll find comfortable sleeping arrangements including a bunk bed (top bunk suitable for ages 6+ only) and a main bedroom designed to feel restful after days spent exploring. The bathroom is modern and well-kept, with hot showers to revive you after outdoor adventures.
For longer stays, the cottage also has a washing machine and electric clothes rail, plus an iron and ironing board for convenience.
Hello, I’m Tania – and I’m delighted to welcome you to Cumbric Cottage.
I’ve been fortunate to call the Lake District home for a number of years, and it’s a place I truly love. This region is special to me for its breathtaking landscapes, peaceful villages, and the slower pace of life that makes every day feel like a retreat.
Through my work, I’ve also been lucky enough to travel widely, and I’ve brought a little of that inspiration back here into the cottage. You’ll find touches of comfort and style drawn from those experiences, but always rooted in the character and charm of the Cumbrian countryside.
It’s a joy to share this cottage and this corner of the Lakes with you. I hope your stay gives you time to unwind, explore, and fall in love with the area just as I have.
Warmly,
Tania
