Main Street, East Bank, and West Bank are connected by alleyways known as 'ginnels,' which are well worth investigating. The Morris dancers, the annual Shrove Tuesday pancake race, the Wakes events in June, and the Secret Gardens of Winster event in July are all well-known in Winster.
