The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio, and furniture, and roadside parking, on a first-come, first-served basis. One small, well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Damson Cottage is a delightful base for a Somerset escape. Note: There are steps in the garden. Note: The staircase is steep and has limited headroom. Note: There is one step up, into the dining room.

The village of Nether Stowey is located in Somerset County, close to the Quantock Hills, an AONB. The older part of the hamlet, which is in a conservation area, has a rich history and a variety of architectural styles, with the oldest structures dating back almost to the Middle Ages and having recently undergone thorough restoration. Three pubs, several stores, a butcher, and a small restaurant can be found in the settlement. The town is renowned for its connections to the romantic poets William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. A getaway to Nether Stowey is the ideal way to learn about the area's history and discover the Somerset Headland.
