Sundowner Holiday Park is the perfect location for a seaside holiday. The park is independently owned, and ideally placed to explore both the coast and the nearby Norfolk Broads. Just 20 minutes walk away you’ll find Hemsby Beach with amusements, shops and cafes. In the nearby village of Winterton-on-Sea the local Fisherman’s Return pub (dog friendly) serves good food. There’s an excellent choice of walks right from the doorstep, and Winterton Dunes between Winterton and Hemsby is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The Norfolk Broads offers scenic boat trips or hire your own boat for the day. There’s also fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding available. For families, the seaside town of Gt Yarmouth is only a 10 minute drive away, with a sandy beach, end of pier entertainment, Sea Life centre, amusement arcades, pleasure beach, bowling, cinemas, Venetian Waterways, crazy golf and much more. There’s a great choice of places to eat out locally including beachside cafes, local pubs and fine dining restaurants.
