Dolphin View Cottage is one of our 4 cottages, situated in the picturesque fishing village of Portmahomack, NC500 route. Our cosy cottages are in such a unique seaside setting, with unintterupted views over the Dornoch firth and Sutherland mountains. Whether you're looking to getaway for a chilled break or enjoy some time away exploring what the highlands have to offer, we have it all - Ideal for both families and couples.

Dolphin View cottages were built by my parents 25 years ago. We have run dolphin view as a family business since then, we cant wait to welcome you to our special little village. We live close by, so we will be on hand for any issues you may have.

Enjoy a day at our lovely village beach and take part in some wildlife spotting -We often see otters, seals and not to forget the beloved moray firth dolphins! Try a round of golf at the villages's 9 hole links course. Tarbatness Lighthouse is a must do - Built by the Stevenson family, It is the second tallest lighthouse in Scotland It is also one of my favourtie coastal walks, from the cottages you can follow the coast right round to the light house (another must do). We have 1 well-equipped village shop, village pub and 2 cafe's all within walking distance of the cottages.
