East Learmouth is a vast Northumberland farming estate covering almost 1300 acres, you can expect to find a range of different farming and country sport practices during your visit. The farm is split between mostly arable & cattle, a shoot, equestrian centre, residential cottages, holiday cottages & lodges, fishing, the variety of things going on it makes the place very interesting to visit. We love meeting new people from all walks of life , finding out about where they come from and what they do, every day is a school day they say and we particularly enjoy meeting people for that very reason. There is a games room / bar and a boathouse overlooking the lake, both available by booking subject to availability . We offer a range of activities such as horse riding on site and off site, we also welcome guest who would like to bring their own horses to stay with them. this can be arranged by contacting us directly. There is fly fishing included in your stay free of charge although you would need to bring your own fishing lines. There are some fantastic walks both on and off site in the local area stretching miles of open countryside.

Our Lakeside Lodges were built during the last few years as part of an ongoing diversification project here at East Learmouth, there are currently only two lodges on the Lakeside making it an extremely peaceful and scenic location in the heat of the Northumberland countryside, each lodge is in its own space secluded from each other and both with private hot tubs, making it an ideal place to come to relax, unwind and be in the hands of Nature at its best. We welcome fishing on the lake as part of your getaway, also horse riding is available by separate arrangement for those looking for a more adventurous getaway. Whatever the season it’s always guaranteed to be a joyous experience. Each lodge is set for the colder months with heating and patio heaters which compliment the hot tubs. We welcome dogs on site however there is a small extra charge for this to help with extra cleaning / laundry. please get in touch if you wish to bring a dog.

North Northumberland is a vast geographical area filled with some fantastic places to visit, explore and wine & dine. In close proximity is the Collingwood Arms , Blue Bell inn, Red Lion , Black Bull , all within 10 mins drive and all serve fantastic food and drink. Coldstream just a few miles from the site, not only welcomes you to Scotland but also boast a range of food and drink outlets especially food to takeaway. Cornhill Village shop forms the hub of the local community and serves delicious freshly home baked food as well as providing the services of the local post office. Further afield there is the Farne islands, Seahouses, Holy Island, Bamborugh, Berwick upon Tweed, Kelso , all well worth a visit although make sure you check the tide times for Holy Island on the internet prior to your trip out! More locally there are several attractions on a nearby estate such as a railway, coffee shop heavy horse centre and castle to visit all on Ford and Etal estates. Closer to home again on the estate itself we offer horse riding, walking , fishing , cycling routes , shooting and Jet skiing, some subject to times of year and availability.
