Tim Mosedale, who runs the B&B, is also a Keswick based Climbing and Mountaineering Instructor who has summited Everest seven times. Indeed Tim is only the 10th Brit to have summited Mount Everest from both sides and, in 2013, he summited twice in one season, which is a bit of a rarity.

Close to the B&B there is the beautifully scenic lake of Derwentwater with fabulous views across to the northern fells of The Lake District. Keswick stands at the entrance to the valley of Borrowdale which gives easy access to the northern and central Lakeland fells. There are various walks that can be easily accomplished from the front door whether going around the lake or up a hill. We can give plenty of local advise according to your aspirations and the prevailing weather conditions.
