Hi! I’m originally from Brazil and have been living in beautiful Scotland since 2005. I currently work for the UK Government, a position I’ve held since 2021. Before that, I spent over 15 years working in the hospitality industry; an experience that inspired my passion for meeting people and creating welcoming spaces for travellers from around the world. While I no longer live in the guest house, I personally look after every reservation and ensure everything runs smoothly for each guest. Check-in and check-out are fully independent for your convenience, but I’m always reachable and happy to assist with anything you may need before or during your stay. My goal is to make sure every guest feels comfortable, supported, and at ease; offering the warmth of personal hospitality with the privacy and freedom of a modern guest house. Welcome to our lovely corner of Edinburgh! 🏡 Our neighbourhood is family-oriented and friendly, with a nice mix of calm and energy. We are just beside a busy road, so you might hear a bit of life going by buses, cars and the occasional motorbike showing off. But inside the property, it’s still a cosy and comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. During the day, especially in summer, our little community gets a bit more lively thanks to the neighbourhood kids; our sweet little angels (most of the time!). They're often out playing, laughing, and bringing joy to the street. They're usually very well-behaved… but as we all know, kids can be full of surprises! Even with all that, nights tend to be quiet and peaceful. Many guests have commented on how well they sleep here. You can come home late at night without a worry; Edinburgh is generally a very safe city, and I’m proud to say our area is no exception. If you're looking for a safe, welcoming place with a bit of personality, you'll feel right at home here.
